    My priorities when building tables are having unique designs that are built to the highest quality standards.  Each table is built by hand, by me, Richard Walker, the artist, right here in the USA.

    Construction:

    My first series of tables is constructed of solid ½ inch diameter steel round-bar.  Each table is comprised of 21 to 30+ individual pieces of solid steel round-bar.  Each piece is hand cut to fit with the next and then the entire table is welded together, all by hand.

    Finishing:

    I currently offer these tables in a brown or black finish.  The colors are actually formed through a chemical process with the metal.  The steel itself is actually turned brown or black depending on the chemicals used.  This gives the tables a warm feeling like you would find on something that has been in the family for generations.  The colors have slight hue variations throughout the pieces.  These finishes are very unique and look even better with age.
